Update: Sense Mobile
Since the release of the Sense driver for Control4 we've heard great reviews but there was always something missing: a mobile version of the interface
NOW, the same clean and easy to use interface that our customers were enjoying through their Control4 touchscreen is available through the Control4 mobile app.
The Control4 Sense user interface provides the home owner with a simplified view of energy consumption as compared to the native app. The items shown on the interface provide a condensed yet complete overview of the current as well as historical energy expenditure. If solar is connected to the Sense energy monitor the application will also display energy production information alongside the consumption data.
Below are screenshots of each section of the interface as displayed on Control4 touchscreens and mobile phones.
HOME:
Shows live consumption (and production, if applicable) information alongside a list of devices found in the smart home. Selecting a device from the list will take the user to the devices page to view more information about the selected device.
SOLAR:
This section is only displayed if the Sense energy monitor is connected with the solar energy production system. Both current and historical data can be viewed here.
TRENDS:
Here the user can find a summary of consumption (and production, if applicable) data collected by the Sense monitor. The data can be filtered using Day, Week, Month, and Year buttons.
DEVICES:
Sense energy monitor uses machine learning in order to detect devices found in the home. This page will list all devices found in the home as well as allow the user to see current and historical data related to the selected device.
Sense helps homeowners understand their home's energy, and get a view into their home they can’t get anywhere else. Paired with the Control4 smart home customers can monitor power consumption and solar production, get personalized alerts and view energy directly from both their touchscreen and mobile interface.
Cindev has recently updated the Unifi Network Controller driver and with it the Control4 user interface due to recent updates to the UniFi API. Make sure to download the latest driver as well as dashboard to stay up to date!
